These Terms and Conditions govern piano tuition provided by Hannah Brooks trading as Maple Grove Piano ("we", "us", "our") and your use of the website vividmomentbook.pics. By booking lessons or using our website, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

We provide individual piano tuition, music theory instruction, and related services from 42 Station Road, Orpington, Kent BR6 0SA. Contact: [email protected], 01689 874221.

2. Booking and trial lessons

A free 20-minute trial lesson is offered once per new student. Regular lessons require completion of an enrolment form and acceptance of these terms. A regular weekly slot is allocated subject to availability.

3. Fees and payment

Fees are invoiced termly in advance and are due within 14 days of the invoice date. Payment by bank transfer is preferred; other methods may be agreed in writing. Fees cover tuition and termly recitals unless otherwise stated. Exam entry fees, music books, and theory workbooks are additional.

We reserve the right to adjust fees at the start of a new academic year with at least one term's notice.

4. Cancellations and missed lessons

Lessons cancelled by us (e.g. teacher illness) will be rescheduled or credited. Lessons cancelled by the student with at least 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled at our discretion, subject to availability within the same term.

Lessons missed without adequate notice are charged in full. We do not guarantee rescheduling for late cancellations.

5. Termination

Either party may terminate tuition with half a term's written notice. Fees for the current term are non-refundable except where we cancel remaining lessons. We may terminate immediately in cases of persistent non-payment, unsafe behaviour, or breach of these terms.

6. Safeguarding

We are committed to the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. Parents must remain on the premises for trial lessons with under-16s unless a prior arrangement exists. We follow local safeguarding guidance and may share concerns with appropriate authorities.

7. Exam entries

Exam entries are made only when Hannah considers the student ready. Entry fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable once submitted to the exam board. Results and certificates are issued by the board directly.

8. Website use

Website content is owned by Maple Grove Piano and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or distribute content without permission. We do not guarantee uninterrupted website access.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Our liability for other losses is limited to fees paid for the term in which the claim arises.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your statutory consumer rights.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled students. Continued attendance after changes constitutes acceptance.
