Autumn Showcase
Saturday 15 November 2026 · 2:30 pm
St Olave's Church Hall, London Road, Orpington BR6 9AJ
Mixed programme from beginners to Grade 6. Rehearsal slot in the studio the week before. Light refreshments after.
We hold two student recitals each year — a supportive setting to share progress with family and friends. Performing is encouraged, never required, but most students choose to take part once they have a piece they are proud of.

Intimate in-studio performance on the Kawai baby grand. Ideal for first-time performers and adult students. Limited seating — RSVP required.
Recitals are relaxed affairs — smart but not formal. Students perform one or two pieces, usually around two to four minutes each. Hannah introduces each performer and provides a printed programme.
Younger children often play near the start when the audience is fresh. There is no compulsion to perform from memory, though exam candidates are encouraged to try.
Hannah works on performance skills throughout the year — not just in the weeks before a recital. Playing for other students in lessons, recording pieces at home, and attending as an audience member at previous recitals all help.
If your child is nervous, talk to Hannah about whether this term's recital is the right moment. There is always another opportunity around the corner.
